Tornados Gear Up for 2025 Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships

BREVARD, N.C. - The 10-time national champion Brevard College Cycling team is set to compete at the 2025 USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships to be held Thursday through Sunday at the Powderhorn Resort in Mesa, Colorado.
 
Led by BC Head Cycling Coach Brad Perley, a grand total of 21 Tornados will make the trip to Colorado.
 
BC comes off an incredible 2024 Mountain Bike National Championship appearance where the Tornados hauled in seven total individual national championships.
 
The 2025 USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships begin Thursday at Powderhorn Resort with the Women's Short Track Cross Country Championships at 11:40 a.m. ET/9:40 a.m. MT, followed by the Men's Short Track XC Championships at 1 p.m. ET/11 a.m. MT. Thursday culminates with the thrilling Team Relay race at 4:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. MT.
 
Friday features the Men's Varsity Cross Country race at 10 a.m. ET/8 a.m. MT followed by the Women's Varsity Cross Country scheduled for 12 p.m. ET/10 a.m. MT. The action concludes Friday with the Downhill practice throughout the afternoon.
 
The Saturday schedule begins with Downhill Practice and Seeding. Downhill finals are slated to begin at 4 p.m. ET/2 p.m. MT, and continue through the afternoon.
 
For the event's final day on Sunday, Dual Slalom practice runs from 10-12:30 p.m. ET (8-10:30 a.m. MT), with qualifying starting at 12:30 p.m. ET/10:30 a.m. MT.
 
The national championships conclude with the Dual Slalom finals at 3 p.m. ET/ 1 p.m. MT, and Omnium awards will be presented following the final event.
