VALAIS, Switzerland – Four Brevard College cycling student-athletes – Nicole Bradbury, Owen Clark, Cole Punchard, and Lily-Rose Marois – will represent Canada at the 2025 Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) Mountain Bike World Championships in Valais, Switzerland. This marks the eighth-straight year BC Cycling student-athletes are representing their home nations at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships.
 
"We are excited to have four of our students representing BC at the world championships," commented Head Cycling Coach Brad Perley. "It's always a privilege to have our student-athletes get the opportunity to compete at this level. We can't wait to follow along and cheer from afar!"
 
Bradbury, a senior from Hamilton, Ontario, will compete in both the U-23 Women's Short Track Cross Country Championships on Tuesday, September 9, and the U-23 Women's Cross Country Championships on Sunday, September 14. Also on the women's side is Marois, a Quebec City, Quebec freshman, who is taking part in the Junior Women's Cross Country Championships on Friday, September 12.
 
On the men's side, Clark - King City, Ontario senior – and Punchard – a senior hailing from Huntsville, Ontario – will each participate in both the Men's Short Track Cross Country Championships on Tuesday, September 9, and the Men's Cross Country Championships on Saturday, September 13.
