BREVARD, N.C. - Brevard College football freshman linebacker
Marvin Pulley earned his second-straight USA South Conference Football Defensive Rookie of the Week accolade following Brevard's big 45-6 victory in the season finale over NC Wesleyan on Senior Day.

Pulley, a first-year Tornado from Donsonville, Ga., exploded for a season-high nine tackles and a fumble recovery in the final game of 2025, a 39-point win for the Tornados over the Battling Bishops. The week prior at Methodist, Pulley logged seven total tackles and his first collegiate interception in a dominant victory for Brevard.

Pulley saw action in two previous road games for the varsity squad, at LaGrange and at Greensboro. Before his collegiate debut, Pulley competed for BC's futures team.

In the two contests he received accolades from the USA South, Pulley registered 16 total tackles (nine solo, seven assisted), recovered a fumble, and grabbed an interception.
