BREVARD, N.C. – A program-record four Brevard College volleyball student-athletes were selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
Seniors
Jaxson Tumicki and
Lili White were joined by sophomores
Izzy Boulay and
Emma Fontana on the prestigious Academic All-District program. The announcement marks the third time Tumicki has been selected in her collegiate career, while Boulay, Fontana, and White all make their first appearances on the Academic All-District Team.
Boulay, a second-year Tornado setter from Newnan, Ga., is currently majoring in Exercise Science at BC. In 2025, Boulay dished out 645 assists and accumulated 195 digs and 65 kills in 31 matches played. Boulay has accumulated 1,520 career assists in two seasons with the Tornados, currently ranking fourth in BC's NCAA era for career assists.
Fontana, a sophomore middle blocker from Papillion, Neb. who also majors in Exercise Science, makes her first career appearance on the Academic All-District Team. Competing in 27 matches this season, Fontana registered 145 kills with 32 service aces, and was a force defensively with 74 digs and 51 total blocks.
Making her third appearance on the Academic All-District Team, Tumicki becomes the first volleyball Tornado to earn three honors from CSC. A middle blocker from Brandon, Fla., Tumicki is an Environmental Studies major at Brevard College. Over the course of her four-year playing career, Tumicki appeared in 107 matches, registering 391 kills and an impressive 167 total blocks in her four seasons at Brevard.
White, a fellow senior defensive specialist from Mount Airy, Md. majoring in Communication, earns her first selection onto the Academic All-District squad. White appeared in 65 matches for Brevard in three seasons, accumulating 335 digs and 41 service aces with 68 assists and 45 kills.
The 2025 Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
