BC Women’s Basketball Sets 2025-26 Schedule

BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College women's basketball team has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 campaign.
 
The Tornados will compete a total of 13 times inside of the Boshamer Gymnasium, face 18 USA South Conference opponents, and feature a pair of NCAA DI exhibitions as part of their 27-game slate.
 
"Our excitement and energy levels are through the roof to get the year started," commented Head Coach Donald Hudson. "We understand every season comes with highs and lows, and we embrace and welcome all of the hurdles that will present themselves. Our non-conference schedule will help us prepare a tough and competitive USA South Conference schedule."
 
The 2025-26 season gets underway for Brevard with three-straight road matchups in Greenville, South Carolina vs. Bob Jones (Tuesday, November 11, 6 p.m.), in Swannanoa, North Carolina vs. Warren Wilson (Friday, November 14, 6 p.m.), and in Greensboro, North Carolina vs. Guilford (Monday, November 17, 6 p.m.). The first matchup for the Tornados inside The Bosh is on Friday, November 21 at 7 p.m. against Johnson & Wales-NC.
 
A three-game homestand continues for the Tornados, who will take on Warren Wilson in a rematch on Monday, November 24 at 5:30 p.m. before a 6 p.m. showdown the following day against Berry. USA South action then begins for Brevard with a Tuesday, December 2 road trip to NC Wesleyan in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, where start-time is slated for 6 p.m.
 
The Tornados dip outside of conference play briefly to host Bob Jones on Friday, December 5 at 5:30 p.m. before a road trip to Raleigh, North Carolina to face William Peace on Friday, December 12 at 6 p.m. Brevard's final regular-season action of the 2025 calendar year is a back-to-back at home, where BC welcomes Greensboro (Tuesday, December 16, 6 p.m.) and Methodist (Wednesday, December 17, 4 p.m.).
 
BC will compete in a pair of NCAA DI exhibitions over the Christmas break, first with a test at UNC Asheville on Monday, December 29, followed by a trip to Greenville, South Carolina to square off against Furman at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30.
 
2026 begins at home for the Tornados, who match up against Meredith on Saturday, January 3 at 2 p.m., followed by a road trip to Staunton, Virginia on Monday, January 5 to compete against Mary Baldwin at 6 p.m. BC then gears up for a rematch against William Peace at home on Saturday, January 10 at 2 p.m. and another home date vs. Salem on Wednesday, January 14 at 5:30 p.m.
 
BC once again treks to Raleigh, this time for a Saturday, January 17 meeting with Meredith at 2 p.m. BC is on the road once more on Tuesday, January 20 at 7 p.m. in Misenheimer, North Carolina to face Pfeiffer, and returns home on Saturday, January 24 for a 2 p.m. showdown against Southern Virginia in a rematch of the 2025 USA South Tournament Championship.
 
Brevard then travels to Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Wednesday, January 28 at 6 p.m. to run it back against Salem before the Tornados host two straight against Mary Baldwin (Saturday, January 31, 2 p.m.) and vs. Pfeiffer (Tuesday, February 3, 7 p.m.).
 
A three-game road stretch ensues for the Tornados, first in Fayetteville, North Carolina against Methodist on Saturday, February 7 at 2 p.m. Brevard then makes the trip to Buena Vista, Virginia to once again duel against Southern Virginia on Saturday, February 14 at 2 p.m. BC's final midweek road test is in Greensboro, North Carolina against Greensboro on Tuesday, February 17 at 6 p.m. Senior day is slated for Saturday, February 21 at 2 p.m. vs. NC Wesleyan at The Bosh.
 
The 2026 USA South Conference Women's Basketball Tournament begins on Tuesday, February 24, with first-round action. The semifinals are scheduled for Thursday, February 26, and the 2026 USA South Championship will take place on Saturday, February 28.
 
The unofficial start to the 2025-26 campaign begins inside of the Boshamer Gymnasium on Thursday, October 23, as BC hosts its annual midnight madness-style event - Tornado Tipoff - which will begin at 9 p.m.
 
The Tornados qualified for the USA South Championship game for the first time in program history in 2024-25. Brevard reached the 20-win mark for the first time as a member of the NCAA, and first time overall since 2004-05. Brevard won an NCAA-era high 13 conference games while also setting new NCAA-era marks for wins at the Boshamer Gymnasium (11) and on the road (nine). BC WBB Head Coach Donald Hudson also surpassed the 100-win mark for his collegiate coaching career.
