BREVARD, N.C.- The No. 9 Wingate Bulldogs defeated the Brevard College Tornados in straight sets in South Atlantic Conference action in Boshamer Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs took the match by scores of 25-12, 25-12 and 25-17.

The Bulldogs hit .345 en route to the victory, paced by Abby Saehler's game-high 15 kills.

Savannah Cox, Joy Oswalt and Fatima Gharachorloo each had four kills to lead BC. Bailey Hayes distributed a team-high 14 assists.

Aleksandra Vrvilo chipped in a match-high 20 digs defensively for the Tornados.

The Tornados are next in action on Tuesday night as they visit the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears in Shuford Memorial Gymnasium at 7 p.m.
