ANDERSON, S.C.- The Brevard College (3-5, 0-2 SAC) women's tennis team traveled for their second South Atlantic Conference match up against Anderson University (4-4, 3-2 SAC) losing 7-2 at Max Grubbs Memorial Courts on Thursday, March 20.

Katie Daugherty and Michelle Prata paired up for No.1 doubles against Karen Ching and Avery Owens winning 9-8, 8-6 then Daugherty took No.1 singles with a win over the Trojans Karen Ching 6-1, 6-4.

Jule Hermann and Ana Drummond performed closely to the Alexandra Ebner and Nikkola Wichenko but came up short at 8-5. Tornados finished doubles 1-2 then preceded to a tough round of singles play.

Michelle Prata matched up against a familiar opponent from doubles falling 6-0, 6-3. Jule Hermann came back from a 6-1 loss in the first set to a 7-5 in the second but couldn't grab the win.

Anderson controlled the rest of the match for the 7-2 win over Brevard.

Brevard will host Mars Hill at McCoy Tennis Complex at Brevard College at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24.
