In Saturday's matchup, Southern Virginia set the tone by sweeping doubles play. The Knights took the top flight by a final of 6-2 before a pair of tight doubles matches ensued. Madison Bowen and Jada Ore paired up in the second spot, taking the match down to the wire but ultimately falling 7-5. Gracie Spangler and Casey Wampler also battled valiantly, but were trumped 6-4 in their doubles match to give the Knights the clean doubles sweep and a 1-0 overall match lead.
