BREVARD, N.C. – Brevard College senior
Madison Bowen capped off her collegiate career with a selection onto the USA South All-Conference First Team, while fellow senior
Sophie Trantham represents BC on the USA South All-Sportsmanship Team.
Bowen, a second-year Tornado from Greensboro, North Carolina, compiled an 8-3 overall record in singles play, with a 6-3 mark in dual matches. All six of her singles victories came at the two-spot for Brevard. Bowen also racked up a total of seven doubles wins in 2024-25.
Trantham, a fourth-year Tornado from Matthews, North Carolina, eclipsed 50 career singles wins this season while totaling nine total singles victories in 2024-25. Trantham secured a grand total of eight doubles wins this season as well.
BC recently completed a successful 2024-25 campaign. Brevard began the season 5-0 as a team, the best start to a season in program NCAA history. This season was also the fourth-straight year that the Tornados have qualified for conference postseason play.
