BREVARD, N.C. – Brevard College women's soccer received more national recognition, appearing in the first NCAA DIII Region VI Rankings of the 2025 season. The Tornados were slotted in the six-spot with their 13-0-0 record against NCAA DIII opponents and their NPI score of 59.962.

The Tornados recently clinched their second consecutive USA South Conference Regular Season Championship thanks to a 1-0 road victory over Southern Virginia. Following the win, Brevard jumped up to 34
th in the NCAA DIII NPI rankings, as the Tornados have maintained an unbeaten 15-0-0 record in 2025.
BC remains amongst the top teams in the nation statistically as the regular season comes to a close. Brevard leads the country as a team in won-loss-tied percentage (1.000), goals-against average (0.200), and save percentage (0.941), and ranks top-five in several other categories including assists per game (second, 3.93), shots on goal per game (second, 14), shots per game (third, 26.73), points per game (fourth, 12.47), shutout percentage (fourth, 0.800), and scoring offense (fifth, 4.27).
Brevard has maintained an unbeaten streak of 33 matches since the beginning of the 2024 campaign — the second-longest active streak in NCAA Division III women's soccer, while also being tied for the second-longest active streak across all divisions of NCAA women's soccer. With the USA South tournament running through Brevard, the Tornados will aim to defend their 28-match home unbeaten streak that began on Oct. 18, 2022. Through 15 matches this fall, the Tornados have outscored opponents 64-3 and continue to rank among the nation's statistical leaders both individually and as a team. BC's 15 wins to start the 2025 campaign give the Tornados far and away the best start to a season in program history during the NCAA era.
The 2025 USA South Conference Women's Soccer Tournament begins this Saturday at 5 p.m. with first-round action at Ives-Lemel Family Field.
