Box Score DEMOREST, Ga. – The Brevard College women's lacrosse team (2-6, 1-3 USA South) fell 24-1 on Tuesday evening to Piedmont (7-5, 5-0 USAS) on Tuesday evening at the Walker Athletic Complex.
 
Piedmont controlled the game from the opening draw, scoring 10 goals in the first quarter and never looking back. The Lions added five goals in both the second and third periods before closing with four more in the fourth.
 
Brevard was held scoreless for more than three quarters before breaking through late in the game. Madi Norris netted the Tornados' lone goal with 9:45 remaining in the fourth period, finishing a man-down opportunity off an assist from Xan Hill.
 
Despite the lopsided scoreline, Brevard goalkeeper Kyla Smith-Fondall recorded a strong individual performance with 15 saves while facing 43 shots.
 
Piedmont's offense was led by Savannah Limehouse, who scored eight goals, while Clara Welch added four goals and two assists. Carson Bezold facilitated much of the attack with 11 assists as the Lions finished with 19 helpers on 24 goals.
 
The Lions dominated possession throughout, holding a 23-3 advantage in draw controls and a 23-10 edge in ground balls. Brevard managed just five total shots, placing three on goal.
 
Brevard returns to action on Saturday at 1 p.m. for Senior Day against William Peace at Ives-Lemel Family Field.
