Brevard Baseball Releases 2026 Schedule

BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College baseball program has announced its upcoming 2026 schedule.
 
"We are looking forward to another great season," commented Head Coach Vinny Carone. "Our non-conference schedule should get us well prepared for what will certainly be another very competitive USA South Conference season."
 
Brevard will gear up for a 40-game schedule featuring 22 total home contests, while 21 of BC's 40 games are inside of USA South play.
 
The Tornados begin the 2026 campaign by hosting first-year program Johnson and Wales-NC for a three-game set beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 7, starting at noon. The series concludes on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 1 p.m.
 
Brevard takes a midweek trip to Greensboro, N.C., to face Guilford on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m. before returning home for another three-game set, this time against Berea. The Tornados and Mountaineers will compete in a doubleheader starting at noon on Saturday, Feb. 14, and will conclude the series on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 1 p.m. Capital will visit Gil Coan Field next, as BC wraps up a stretch with nine of its first 10 contests at home. The series begins with a standalone matchup on Friday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m. before a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 21, starting at noon.
 
BC next travels to take part in three contests hosted by Centre in Danville, Ky. The Tornados first square off against Wheaton at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, before taking on the hosts on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. The weekend concludes with a Sunday, March 1 meeting against Dominican at 11 a.m.
 
The Tornados then return to the confines of The Gil for three more home contests against three separate opponents. Guilford concludes its home-and-home series with the Tornados on Wednesday, March 4, at 2 p.m. Penn State-Scranton then visits Brevard on Sunday, March 8, at 1:30 p.m., and the three-game homestand concludes on Tuesday, March 10, when Toccoa Falls comes to town for a 2 p.m. first pitch.
 
USA South Conference action gets started with a trip to Staunton, Va. as Brevard squares off with Mary Baldwin. The series begins with a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday, March 14, and concludes on Sunday, March 15 at 12 p.m.
 
BC will briefly dip out of conference play to begin a home-and-home with Piedmont, hosting the Lions on Tuesday, March 17 at 4 p.m. before returning to conference action with a home series against Methodist. The Tornados and Monarchs will compete in a Saturday, March 21, doubleheader beginning at noon, and will finish off the three-game set on Sunday, March 22, at noon.
 
The Tornados will close the month of March out by kicking off a lengthy eight-game road swing with a three-game series at NC Wesleyan in Rocky Mount, N.C. The series starts with a noon doubleheader on Saturday, March 28, and concludes on Sunday, March 29, with a noon series finale. BC then faces Toccoa Falls in Toccoa, Georgia, on Tuesday, March 31 at 2 p.m., concluding the series with the Screaming Eagles.
 
April starts with a three-game set at Pfeiffer in Misenheimer, N.C. The Tornados and Falcons will begin the series on Saturday, April 4, at 4 p.m. and finish with a doubleheader on Sunday, April 5, at noon. The lengthy road stretch concludes with a 6 p.m. first pitch in Demorest, Georgia, on Wednesday, April 8, vs. Piedmont.
 
The Tornados return to Gil Coan Field for six home contests in a row, beginning with a Friday, April 10 showdown with Southern Virginia at 4 p.m. The Tornados and Knights wrap up the series with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 11, starting at noon. Senior weekend commences with William Peace coming to town for a series opener on Saturday, April 18, at 3 p.m. The final home doubleheader of the regular season is on Sunday, April 19, beginning at 11 a.m.
 
The 2026 regular season finale is a three-game series on the road at Greensboro in Greensboro, N.C., where the Tornados and Pride open the set on Friday, April 24 at 4 p.m., and conclude their respective regular seasons in a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 25.
 
The 2026 USA South Conference Baseball Tournament begins with two three-team double-elimination tournaments from Thursday-Saturday, April 30-May 2. The USA South Conference Baseball Championship Series will take place on Friday and Saturday, May 8-9, in a best-of-three format.
 
BC qualified for the USA South postseason for the third consecutive year in 2025, and accumulated double-digit wins in conference action for the third-straight campaign. Three total Tornados earned All-Conference honors as well.
